What you get
Used phones bought at the counter in minutes with the IMEI checked, the seller identified and photographed and a signed declaration; every unit sold by its serial with a grade warranty, trade-in at the till, and a daily report the shop can hand over when asked
01
A used phone bought in two to three minutes
The counter follows one guided screen: the IMEI scanned or typed and checked as it is entered, the condition graded A to D, the photos, the seller's ID read from a photo on our own servers, the price, and a declaration of ownership the seller signs on the screen. The server refuses to finish a buy without an ID, a valid identifier and the signature.
02
Your own stolen list, across every branch
Every IMEI entered anywhere, whether a buy, a trade-in, a repair or a sale, is checked against the devices reported to your shop and against your register in all your branches. A match alerts the manager, and the counter sees only a neutral 'please wait for the manager'. The list stays inside your own group and is never shared with other shops.
03
One timeline per device
Search an IMEI and see the device's whole life: who it was bought from (masked), its grade, its hold, its repairs, who bought it, and the warranty left on it. Every unit is sold by its serial at the till, and the grade sets the warranty written on the receipt.
04
Trade-in at the till
The customer hands over the old phone and pays only the difference. The trade-in is a real purchase with its own voucher. The device enters stock at its value, and the ledger balances through a trade-in clearing account.
05
A daily report, and an export when the authorities ask
At closing, every branch gets a bilingual PDF of the day's buys, sales, holds and alerts. When an authority asks for records, the manager selects them, types the request reference, and exports the evidence sheets and a CSV, watermarked and logged. This is the shop's own register: whether any authority requires a particular format or a hold period is for your legal adviser to confirm.
06
Data-wipe certificates
After a reset, the technician records the method and hands over a numbered bilingual certificate with a QR code anyone can verify. It states the method used and nothing more. It does not claim to meet any erasure standard.
Frequently asked
Is this a police register?
No. It is your shop's own register and daily report, with an export you can hand to an authority when one asks. We found no Gulf text that obliges a used-phone shop to keep a particular register, so we make no claim of compliance. Ask your legal adviser what applies to you.
Do you check the IMEI against a blacklist?
Only if you turn it on. You can record a check you made yourself on any service, or connect your own subscription. Only the IMEI is ever sent, never the seller's identity. Manual checks and checks on your own key cost nothing extra.
Where do the seller's photos and ID go?
Into the Counter Capture vault, encrypted record by record and never served as a public file. The ID number is stored encrypted and shown as its last four digits. Only the owner and admins can reveal it, and every reveal is logged. After the retention period (5 years by default), the owner approves the shredding of the photos and the clearing of the seller's personal details. Your accounts and stock history stay intact.
Must I hold a device before I resell it?
The hold period starts at zero days and you set it. While a hold runs, the till and the invoice refuse to sell that serial. We have not confirmed a legal figure for Qatar, Saudi Arabia or the UAE. Ask your legal adviser.
