Tenders and auctions
A competition the rules can stand behind
Buy or sell through sealed-bid competitions, with the rules enforced by the system rather than remembered by a committee.
Sealed in the bidder’s browser
A price is sealed before it leaves the bidder’s computer and can only be opened by a quorum of opening officers, each with a passphrase of their own — not by thexsys, and not by any one person.
To buy and to sell
A tender to buy and an auction to sell, as first-class choices: supplies and works, and also land, vehicles, scrap and concessions.
Private or government rules
A private company may shorten a notice period or award without publishing. A government entity cannot, and the system holds it to its rules.
Scored evaluation and a published award
Technical and financial scoring, an award that can be justified line by line, and a full audit trail of who did what and when.
An app for bidders
Suppliers get a deadline board across every buyer that invited them, a bid or no-bid decision, a cost build-up and a check that refuses a bid that would be thrown out.
A public notice board
Government entities can publish open tenders, their documents and the award on a public board that anyone can read, with no account.
What it costs
Included in Enterprise. On Standard and Business, tenders are an add-on per company, and the public notice board is a separate add-on for the entities that need one.
